Ezra was a leader in the land of Babylon to King Artaxerxes of Persia. While in this land, the King trusted him and showed him great kindness and responsibility. What three things did the King do for Ezra?
The king appointed Ezra as leader of all Israelites who wanted to return to Jerusalem.
The King gave Ezra silver, gold, and supplies to rebuild the temple and continue to worship God there.
The King gave him full authority to manage everything because he trusted His wisdom. He allowed him to take whatever he needed from the King's storehouses and even appoint and remove leaders and judges to help govern the people.
