What is the Nestorian heresy and where did it spread too? 

The Nestorian heresy denied the single, united nature of the Lord Jesus Christ. Instead, it claimed that there were two separate natures – one divine and one human. This belief essentially separated the divinity of Christ from His humanity. Additionally, Nestorius rejected the title “Theotokos” which means Mother of God for the Virgin Mary, insisting that she gave birth to a mere human being, not God in the flesh. This heresy spread to the city of Constantinople.
