Mercy College is fully committed to supporting all of its students in their academic careers. Part of that commitment includes the provision of academic accommodations for students who have a documented diagnosis of a disability: learning, attention, health/systemic, sensory, physical, psychiatric, and neurologic. If a student has received services either during secondary education or at a previous institution, this office will work with them to review their eligibility for accommodations at Mercy College. Common accommodations include, additional test time, separate testing location and enhanced study equipment. This office is bound by law to maintain the confidentiality of all students who work with the office and the use of accommodations will not be indicated on transcripts or other institutional documents outside of the office. This office is located in Dobbs Ferry, but the Director is available at the Manhattan Campus by appointment.
