Etiquette is the requirements of your social behavior; it’s the proper conduct as established in any class, community or setting

What is the first thing you should do when you meet a new person?
Introduce yourself!
A good introduction includes your name, and a little bit about yourself, as is relevant to the setting.
You're invited to a dinner party at 6. When do you arrive and do you bring anything?
Arrive on time, or shortly before.
Ask the host before if you can bring something. If they say no, you can always bring a host gift.
Tell the person you need to check out and will call them back. Take out the AirPods and greet the cashier or attendant.
What should you ask someone when you first enter their home, before walking in?
Would you prefer I take my shoes off or leave them on?

After everyone has received their food.
How do you balance a conversation?
Ask questions about the other, listen actively, and try to make communication roughly 50/50. Don't monopolize the conversation and always turn it around on yourself.
Is it ever okay to have your elbows on the table?
Yes, just not while actively eating. Elbows can rest on the table between courses, or after you have finished a meal.
