Why: This is a moment that you have to be fully present with God. Others have the same opportunity and we need to be respectful of this opportunity as some may want to take it and others may not.
Isabel is new to attending mass. She has never before received communion but she is Catholic and has received the sacrament of Baptism. When it is her turn to receive communion she blesses herself, takes the host in her hand, and walks back to her pew. She does not consume the host.
