What is a square? Use your own words to explain and give an example of a square.
What is a number that can be geometrically represented by a square. An example could be 4 which, if you were to show a diagram would be a 2x2 square. Another example would be 36, the diagram would show a 6x6 square.

Order these decimals from greatest to least. 4.567, 0.992, 62.3007, 1.57
What is, in order, 62.3007, 4.567, 1.57, 0.992.
300
Put 9/12 into lowest terms.
What is 3/4. I divided 9 by 3, and whatever you do to the numerator you have to do to the denominator, so 12 divided by 3 gives by me 3/4.

If I wrote 4x4x4x4x4 in exponent form, it would be a 4 with a small 5 in the corner (4⁵). What are the terms for this (what is the whole thing called, the big 4 called, etc.).
What is 4 is the base, 5 is the exponent and the whole thing written in exponent form is called the power.

What is the lowest common multiple of 6 and 9? Use scrap paper to help if needed.
What is 18. If I were to draw a chart, I would see that the lowest multiple for both of these numbers that is the same is 18. 6x3 would give me 18 and 9x2 would also.

When ordering integers on a number line, which side of the zero do the negative integers go on?
What is the left side of the zero. The right side is for the positive integers.

Write an equivalent fraction for 11/33.
What is 1/3 or 22/66. There are multiple answers. To get 1/3 I divide the numerator by 11 and whatever I do to the top I do to the bottom; so 33 divided by 11 is 1/3. To achieve 22/66 I multiplied both the numerator and denominator by 2.

List the factors of 14 and identify whether it is a prime or composite number.
What is 14, 1, 7, 2. 14 is a composite number because it has more that 2 factors.

Change 56/32 into a mixed number. Use a scrap of paper if necessary.
What is 1 24/32. 32 goes into 56 only once, with 24 remaining, so the one becomes the whole number and 24 becomes the numerator while the denominator stays the same.
500
Which integer is greater: -4 or -10?
What is -4. -4 is greater than -10 because it is closer to the zero.
500
Order from least to greatest: √36, 36, 4,√9
What is √9, 4, √36, 36 9's square root is 3, so replace the 9 with 3, 4 stays as 4, 36's square root is 6, so replace 36 with 6 and then 36 stays the same. With all the square roots it would look like this: 3, 4, 6, 36

If the numbers to be placed on a number line were, 0.67, 1.86, 3.59, 0.43 and 4.01, what intervals would you use?
What is 0.5 (of course this is personal preference and there are many possibilities that wouldn't be wrong either) . I would start at 0 as my first interval, because 0.43 is my lowest decimal to be placed. From then I would increase by 0.5. My final number would be 4.5. My number line's intervals should look something like this: 0 0.5 1.0 1.5 2.0 2.5 3.0 3.5 4.0 4.5
