What's the lesson here?

The parable of the two servants. The wise who worked well was made ruler over the lord's household. The evil thought the lord took to long and turned to drunkenness and was caught unaware and was placed with the hypocrites.

The lesson is to remain faithful and steadfast that the day of the returning of the Lord will not catch us by surprise and we will be rewarded eternal life.
