What is this Introduction Missing?

Imagine your son was forced or kidnapped by people of the government and taken to a boarding school, far off from your home up in the Northern states. Native American boarding schools were established in late 19th century to the very early years of the 20th century. The schools were meant to assimilate Native American children and teenagers, because the U.S. government thought they were savages. Today, Natives have different perspectives about these schools.
