Explain what a 72 Hour Emergency Fill is in your own words. 

Pharmacist will receive a rejection on the claim stating they are allowed to fill a 72 hour supply of a medication if the provider is not available to submit a PA, or if we did not respond in a timely manner to a medication. The medication must not cause harm to member if the PA is denied. Members can fill consecutive 72 hour fills until PA is completed.
