The are cut and sewn in various locations in Mexico. The material was manufactured at a textile mill in South Carolina. The material used for the gowns is made from vehicle airbag material. This material is a Nylon 6,6 fiber with a 30 GSM (grams per square meter) Silicone coating.

Can masks be re-used?
This product makes no claims of infection prevention
Anyone in the health care industry (e.g., Doctors, Hospitals, and first responders), and any government agency at the federal, state, or local levels are also eligible to order. All orders must have a signed contract / sales agreement.

What is Medical?
The gowns are all pink due to the type and color of the silicone used in the automotive industry for airbags.
What color are the gowns?
The face masks do not contain latex.
Does the face mask contain latex?
The elastic band from YKK may contain latex.
All head bands from Hope Global, Alliance Rubber and Cooper Standard is latex free.
Does the face shield contain Latex?
Orders are managed and prioritized through the Hospital’s Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). We are currently partnering with HealthTrust, Vizient, Acurity and Premier. Please contact your local GPO with your request and they will contact us directly.

Do the gowns contain latex?
Materials include an inner and outer layer of 30GSM Spunbond polypropylene materials and a 25GSM melt blown polypropylene semi-permeable middle layer.
Ear loops are an Elastic Fabric.
Can you tell me more about the product material information (BOM)?
Since these are approved for emergency use only for the period of time we are managing the COVID-19 virus, a warranty does not exist. If a defect in workmanship does exist, we will replace it. If a defect in workmanship does exist, we will replace it.
What is the warranty or replacement plan?
At this time, due to capacity constraints, Ford will not be able to fulfill orders outside of approved Hospitals and First Responder organizations. We understand this is a difficult time and suggest that they visit the CDC website for recommendations on PPE and safety measures for the general public.
Why can I not order? (non-first responder/hospital)
Production is expected to begin the week of April 20. Ford will be able to produce 1,500 of these ventilators by the end of April; 12,000 by the end of May and 50,000 by July 4.
How many Airon-licensed Model A-E ventilators will Ford build, and how fast?
$15.00/gown plus any applicable taxes and they come in pallets of 1008. Shipping included.

What are Level 2 Case Classifications?
Level 1 Protection, ANSI/AAMI PB70:2012, ASTM F3352-19 Non-Sterile, Not for surgical Use
What is info found on the product information tag?
The expectation is that the masks will meet Level 1 requirements per ASTM F2100 (Bacteria Filtration Efficiency [BFE]: ≥95%, Particle Filtration Efficiency [PFE]: ≥95%). The masks are not certified and confirmation analysis is pending.
What level of protection do the masks provide?
Remove tubes from bag, then peel completely apart.
Press end of tube into pointed end of push pin.
Ensure tube is fully seated against plastic (repeat for both sides).
Face shield complete.
How do I assemble the face masks?
Ford is currently managing the shipping via various ground transports to insure quick delivery (specific shippers cannot be requested). The products are shipped on pallets and the receiver must have a shipping dock.
