The are cut and sewn in various locations in Mexico. The material was manufactured at a textile mill in South Carolina. The material used for the gowns is made from vehicle airbag material. This material is a Nylon 6,6 fiber with a 30 GSM (grams per square meter) Silicone coating.

Materials include an inner and outer layer of 30GSM Spunbond polypropylene materials and a 25GSM melt blown polypropylene semi-permeable middle layer.

Ear loops are an Elastic Fabric.

Since these are approved for emergency use only for the period of time we are managing the COVID-19 virus, a warranty does not exist. If a defect in workmanship does exist, we will replace it. If a defect in workmanship does exist, we will replace it.

At this time, due to capacity constraints, Ford will not be able to fulfill orders outside of approved Hospitals and First Responder organizations. We understand this is a difficult time and suggest that they visit the CDC website for recommendations on PPE and safety measures for the general public.

Production is expected to begin the week of April 20. Ford will be able to produce 1,500 of these ventilators by the end of April; 12,000 by the end of May and 50,000 by July 4.

The expectation is that the masks will meet Level 1 requirements per ASTM F2100 (Bacteria Filtration Efficiency [BFE]: ≥95%, Particle Filtration Efficiency [PFE]: ≥95%). The masks are not certified and confirmation analysis is pending.

Remove tubes from bag, then peel completely apart.

Ford is currently managing the shipping via various ground transports to insure quick delivery (specific shippers cannot be requested). The products are shipped on pallets and the receiver must have a shipping dock.
