How did the manor system support feudalism, and what was daily life like for peasants?
The manor system supported feudalism by making each manor a self-sufficient community where peasants (serfs) worked the land in exchange for protection from the lord. Peasants had to farm, pay taxes, and provide labor, but they had little freedom. Daily life was hard, with long hours of work, simple diets, and small, crowded homes.
