I was a medic in the US Air Force and spent time serving in Germany and Austin, TX. I enjoyed traveling and skiing in Europe. I once got lost on the mountain with my Sister and we had to hike/ slide down towards a cabin and ask for a ride back to the parking lot from someone who only spoke limited english.
