No, I meet with students in groups and individually. Sometimes I meet with student and caregiver also student and teacher. Sometimes I meet with whole class.

FALSE! What you say to me is CONFIDENTIAL! Unless we decide on the need to involve others OR if you want to hurt yourself, someone is hurting you, you know someone is being hurt or if you want to hurt someone else.

Nope! You are not in trouble if you come and see me in my office. We are there to talk and to try to solve a problem and work through an issue together.

My door is always open. There will be times when I am with other students, meeting with adults (parents/teachers). You can even see me outside if I am supervising.

There are many ways to make an appointment with me:
1. You can come and ask to see me.
2. Your teacher could request that I meet with you
3. You parent could request that I meet with you
4. The school principal/vice principal could request that I meet with you.
Ms. D can see me immediately - no matter what.
False! I do my best to see students as quickly as I can. It always depends on the situation. There is 1 counsellor and 670 students at DC so there will be times it may take a while to see me.
