True! I LOVE supportive friends that get you to the right people. Once I know what's going on, at that point, I may ask your supportive friend to go back to class.

What is Confidentiality?

It means that your counselor will not tell other people what you say unless:

You are being hurt

You can only see a counselor if you have a BIG problem.

False! I can handle little problems too! Most of us have small, medium and big problems and it helps to talk about them. It's better that we address it before it becomes a BIG problem. :)

SMALL: You can typically handle this one yourself, or with the help of a friend. 

MEDIUM: You've tried some strategies but still are struggling.

BIG:  Something unexpected or difficult happened and you have BIG FEELINGS about it!
