True or False: A Therapist should tell everyone what their clients talk about in session

FALSE! This is against HIPAA (a federal law) and it ruins trust within the relationship. The only times a therapist should tell people what was said in session is when: A client wants to hurt themselves or someone else, someone else is hurting someone the client knows, a judge says the therapist has to come to court and testify, an insurance company does an audit, or someone under 18's parent's asks for information (this depends on the situation too)
