What is Math (Academic Supplemental Service)
Services are provided to a child under the age of 3.
What is K–12 academic services are not allowable due to age eligibility?

What is missing documentation?

A recruiter completes a Certificate of Eligibility, and services are provided to the student. For those services to appear in MSIS, eligibility information must be entered and maintained accurately.
Who is the Records Clerk?
Transportation is provided so a 3-year-old migrant child can attend an MEP-funded early learning readiness program.
What is Transportation (Non-Academic Supplemental Service)?
This term refers to migrant-eligible youth ages 16–21 who are not enrolled in K–12 and have not earned a diploma or equivalency.
Who are Out-of-School Youth (OSY)?
To be reportable, school readiness services must be linked to an identified need and aligned to WaKIDS readiness domains.
What is a documented school readiness service aligned to WaKIDS domains?
This academic service allows a migrant student to make up partial or full credits needed for grade promotion or graduation, often through programs like PASS.
What is Credit Accrual?
This role conducts family interviews and gathers qualifying work and residency information to determine migrant eligibility and ensure students can access MEP services.
Who are the recruiters?
MEP funds a vision screening and exam clinic for eligible students to address a barrier impacting classroom learning.
What is Health (Supplemental Service)?
MEP coordinates and funds a dental screening with an educational component and follows up to ensure the service is completed.
What is Dental (Non-Academic Supplemental Service)?
Academic services are provided outside a student’s eligibility period.
What is services cannot be reported?
An OSY student participates in an English language class offered by a community-based organization. MEP staff helped the student enroll, stayed connected to the provider, and followed up during the eligibility period.
What is ESL – OSY?
An OSY student enrolls independently in a community ESL class. MEP staff are not involved until the end of the term. Is this a service?
The service does not count because MEP did not coordinate or follow up.
MEP staff call a family to ask whether a student has already completed a 3-year physical, and no further action is taken.
This is not a supplemental service?
MEP provides a hotspot through a lending system, offers training, and documents use to support student access to instruction.
What is Technology (Supplemental Service)?
Health services are provided, but eligibility information is entered incorrectly in the system.
What is incorrect eligibility data?
A K–12 migrant student participates in an MEP-funded after-school tutoring program aligned to Washington State Math standards and designed to address an identified academic need during the eligibility period.
