Air Pollution caused by factories and old cars. This is made worse by Mexico City's high elevation and bowl shape. This reduces the amount of oxygen in the air and traps the pollution. The effect of the issue is breathing issue and smog. The government are encourage people to carpool, leave car at home once a week, and some factories close on days with high pollution.
