The two Types of clinical hours
What are: Relational Hours and Individual hours
these hours are accumulated when you watch a session with a supervisor AND/OR when a supervisor watches you in session.

SUP stands for:
AAMFT approved Supervision (groups and individual supervision)
When are hours due?
The 15th of every month
If your off-site supervisor is AAMFT approved, would you count the supervision hours in your log?
Yes
These type of hours occur when you are seeing only one person in a session or if you are a conducted group therapy where the individuals are NOT related or living together.
What are Individual Hours
These hours accumulate when you are discussing sessions with an AAMFT supervisor

REL stands for:
Relational direct clinical contact
These attachments must be submitted each month

How many hours a week will you receive from your off-site internship?

These hours occur when you are seeing a couple, a family, or a couple of people who have a personal relationship outside of therapy.

Your supervisor does not have to be AAMFT approved BUT-your supervision will not count for graduation if they are not.
