What's the difference between a first use validation and a full validation? Name a reagent that would require a full validation.
First use validation is a check of the quality the reagent or slide provides. They don't require validation samples because we can use clinical samples for these. Full validations require the analysis of validation samples to compare the results with previous data. Enzymes, Enzo Kits, Probe Mixes, Spike-ins are some of the reagents that need a full validation.
