What are microorganisms?
A microorganism is any living thing that can be seen only from the help of a microscope, they can harm us or help us.
Mrs. Hall was cooking chicken, Charlotte sneaks into the kitchen and eats the chicken. A few hours later Charlotte gets sick, and Mrs. and Mr. Hall are confused. What caused her to get sick?
Charlotte got sick from the bacteria in the raw chicken.
How do Microorganisms help us?
Microorganisms help us by rising our bread, producing oxygen, and are great nutrient recyclers.
If I make cookie dough and then eat it would I get sick, and how would I get sick?
I would get sick from the raw eggs in the cookie dough giving me salmonella.
How are Microorganisms harmful?
Some microorganisms cause diseases throughout foods. Some diseases consist of salmonella, poultry, and so on.
