Colleges and Vocational programs charge a tuition fee. What does that tuition cost cover?
Tuition simply refers to the cost of the class. In college, it's charged by the unit (or credit). If a class is worth 3 units and the tuition is $46 per unit, then the cost for tuition would be $138.
I'm enrolling in a business and marketing class at SRJC, but I notice that there's a PREREQUISITE listed for it... what does that mean?
A PREREQUISITE means that there is a class (or classes) that you'll need to take and pass before before taking the class you want.
