The waters of the flood washed away sin, the waters of the Red Sea save from slavery. These both represent the waters of Baptism which saves from sin and its slavery.

Noah- justice of death through sin, but mercy of salvation through following God.

Abraham- justice of circumcision and slavery, but mercy of God's maintenance of the covenant.

Moses- Passover was God's judgment, but mercy that if you follow Him, He is the salvation.
