No. All students must be accompanied by their registered adult to the door.

No. There is to be no outside contact between leaders and students.

Answers will vary. Some examples may include, smile, use their names, follow up with prayer requests, ask about special interests and family
What are two ways you can utilize your volunteers?
Read Scripture passages, help students find Scripture passages, hand out or collect materials, sit strategically with students, help groups with activities, etc.
True or False: A student may attend class even if their registered adult is absent.
False. Unless there is a dual-registered adult in attendance, a student may not attend class without their registered adult present in the building.
What are the 5 tools in our RD Tool Kit?
Prayer, co-leadership, nurturing love, setting limits, transitions
Why is the closing important?
Allows students to ask deeper questions, allows time to pray and listen to God, and creates interest and curiosity for next week's lesson.
What is one age-appropriate solution if students are getting too chatty and distracting those around them?
Answers Vary. Examples Include:
Lower elementary: sit by an adult. Upper elementary: seating chart. Middle school/high school: offer choice to stay with self-control or switch with another student.
What words and phrases should we be careful of when discussing "people who believe in Jesus?" Why?
We, our, all of us, etc.
What should you do if you have a suspicion of child abuse or neglect?
Discuss with an ACS or CS. We are legally bound to comply with reporting requirements.
Before responding to a discipline situation, what are two questions you should ask yourself?
Is the behavior distracting others or only bothering me? What's my emotional temperature currently? Do I need to cool down before I can approach this calmly? Is the behavior rebellious or is something else going on? Do I need support from a co-leader, a volunteer, or an ACS/CS?

What are two boundaries we should remember in our classes?
Never use verbal or physical punishment. Do not humiliate or embarrass a student. Do not punish the class for the behavior of one student. Do not manipulate or threaten with fear or punishment. Do not use spiritual manipulation that gives students a wrong view of God (Works based gospel)
