Lower elementary: sit by an adult. Upper elementary: seating chart. Middle school/high school: offer choice to stay with self-control or switch with another student.

Is the behavior distracting others or only bothering me? What's my emotional temperature currently? Do I need to cool down before I can approach this calmly? Is the behavior rebellious or is something else going on? Do I need support from a co-leader, a volunteer, or an ACS/CS?
