Fin whales are basically the Barry White of the ocean. The deep, bellowing songs that males use to attract mates are considered to be the loudest of all marine life and can be "heard up to 1,000 kilometers (600 miles) away," according to Scientific American. They can also be used to sonically map out the ocean floor thanks to the fact that the sound can reach depths of 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles) under the water, which bounces back and provides researchers with accurate measurements.

This fact compares the sounds of Male Whales to Barry White...who is Barry White?

Barry White was an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer who enjoyed huge success with songs like 'You're the First, the Last, My Everything' and 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe'. Fluoride helps to rebuild and strengthen the tooth's surface, or enamel. Water fluoridation prevents tooth decay by providing frequent and consistent contact with low levels of fluoride. By keeping the tooth strong and solid, fluoride stops cavities from forming and can even rebuild the tooth's surface.

In 1945 cities started adding Fluoride to their water to help people's teeth.

Grand Rapids was the first city in the U.S. to add fluoride to its drinking water - way back in 1945

When subsequent studies showed a significantly lower rate of cavities in schoolchildren, water fluoridation spread to other towns and cities.
