Larry's Brother and is currently dating Ann. Chris is changed from the war and is empathetic, compassionate and morally-upright. He is the foil for his father.
Joe's suicide
Joe commented suicide in a guilt-induced haze, after the realization he has killed his son, not only Larry but all those men. His money was greed he sought to cause happiness, but ended in his grief.
Haemon's Character
Son of Creon and Fiance of Antigone. He attempts Creon to be compassionate to Antigone but fails. He attacks his father and kills himself when he finds Antigone dead. He represents the people of Thebes and their hope of moral justice.
Theme of Citizenship
Citizens, such as Antigone, must follow moral law, not state law. Antigone shows that one's loyalty to her family to morals goes above that of state.
