What is the first thing we do when we enter the classroom?
Read the morning message on the screen for our attendance question and morning work.
Where do we eat our snacks?
Only at desks.
What should we be doing if someone is speaking?
What is listening quietly and being respectful.
What is our end of day procedures?
Miss. Kogut will call you to dismisses once you are seated nicely and quietly with your agenda and take home folder out. You will put your chromebook away, check your mail, then go to your locker, and back in to put your chair up.
What are the expectations for using the flex seating?
We will only use them on the floor, we will not draw or purposefully try to damage them. We will return them to their "home" at the end of each use.
You should do this to get permission to go to the bathroom or get a drink of water.
Put up a number 2 or 1 with your fingers.
What is the Star Jar?
A reward system for good behavior as a class.
What must we do before dismissing onto the bus or parent pickup?
Say goodbye and give a fist bump.
What happens if you are not following our classroom expectations?
Depending on the situation, a verbal warning, a meeting with the teacher, a call home, or a trip to the office.
What is our class calendar?
What is our procedure for entering the classroom? Why is it important?
We enter the room quietly and calmly. It is important because it keeps everyone safe and comfortable.
What does it mean when the doorbell rings? What do we do?
It means the teacher needs your attention. Your ears are listening, voice is off, eyes are looking, and body is still
How are we supposed to walk in the halls?
What must we do before leaving the classroom for the bathroom or somewhere else?
We put our number clip up. If going to the bathroom, we sign out.
How should our desks be kept?
Organized, with our papers in folders and not shoved into our desks.
What things that should be on every paper you turn in?
Your first and last name and assigned number

When are we not allowed to use the restroom?
What is the first 15 minutes of class and the last 15 minutes of class.
Where do we turn in homework/assignments, and notes for the office?
We turn in homework/assignments next to the teachers desk in the red bin, and we put notes in the white basket.
When is it okay to call out an answer or question instead of raising our hands?
Never, unless the teacher asks you to, theres an emergency, or Harry Styles enters the room.
