What's the rule?
Am I allowed to pick on my classmates?
NO! No bullying is allowed at all and will ruin class rewards for EVERYONE if it happens!
Where can I get work from past days?
On the filing cabinet at the front of the room! The bin is labeled with the different weeks the material could be from!
Ask you a question outside of class?
You can always shoot me an email, or pop into my class in between classes or before/after school!
Blow my nose in class?
Yes absolutely if you need to! Just don't be overdramatic about it, and sanitize your hands after!
I can't read the board from my seat?
Let me know as soon as possible! We will move you so you can see!
What do I do if I have a question?
RAISE YOUR HAND QUIETLY! Do not just BLURT OUT YOUR QUESTION! PLEASE!!
For turning in homework?
- You will grade each classmate on how well they work in a group after group projects!
Drink from my water bottle in class?
For sure! Just don't be loud with it, and please don't spill! Keep liquids away from the computers though!
I am having a bad day?
You can always talk to me about it! I have a take what you need board up for you folks too! If one of my reminders helps you, please take it!
How should I treat others in this classroom?
THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED! WITH RESPECT!
For lining up?
Quietly line up along the closets! No bothering each other, we are a family in here! Be nice and treat each other with respect.
What if I have to go to the bathroom?
Raise your hand quietly, and wait for me to call on you. Once I say you can go, sign out your name and the time on the sign out on the sign out sheet. Take the pass, and sign the time back in when you come back!
Take my shoes off and throw them out the window?
For turning in late work?
If you have an excused absence, you have an extra day to turn in your work. Email me your circumstances, I am pretty understanding :)
If you didn't do your homework because you were lazy or forgot, you will get points marked off depending on how late you turn it in :(
For sharpening a pencil?
What if I have to go to the office/nurse?
Raise your quietly, and when called on sign out on the sign out sheet accordingly. Take the pass, and sign back in if/when you come back!
- If you go home, please come back to class to get your things!
Walk out of the class during a lesson because I want to?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. If you walk out of my class without my or Mrs. Thompson's permission, you will be in trouble.
What if someone does something wrong?
Don't say anything! I can handle it! I don't want any: "YEAH BOB YOU CAN'T DO THAT"
Because now you are in the wrong too. Don't yell at your classmates!
BE RESPECTFUL, BE QUIET, AND LISTEN! We are all a family here, treat each other how you want to be treated! This is my #1 rule!!!!!!!!!!
For an emergency (fire alarm, tornado, lockdown)
Look at me, listen for directions, and SILENTLY follow them.
Leave early during the day?
Please try to remember to let me know! We are responsible for you, and knowing your schedule helps us!
Do other classwork during your class?
NO!
Unless you are done with everything we are working on for science for the day. Then yes. :)
