How can you earn a Point in Class Wars?
By being respectful and responsible during class.
How can you loose Participation Points?
By misusing class time/ being disrespectful/ too much talking/ forgetting your ipad/misusing it/ being tardy/ not being prepared for class.
When you are late to school who do you go see first?
Mrs Dooley in the Front office.
If you are absent and you have a question on an assignment what should you do?
Ask Miss Willems or a classmate.
Where do you find your Graded Work?
In your Classes Graded Work bin.
Where do you turn in work to be graded?
In your periods bin on the white bookcase.
If you have left something at home or need to call your parents, when do you do it?
During morning recess or at lunch.
What is my Bathroom Policy?
One Red cone and Blue cone, only 1 boy and 1 girl may go at a time. If the cone is not available and it is an emergency then you may ask Miss W.
What does the Absent Helper do?
They are responsible for collecting all absent student’s work off their empty desktop and placing it in their folder. If there are any important dates they will write them down on top of the work.
Can you have a phone or a smart watch out during school hours?
No!
How do you use the pencil sharpener?
Colored pencils only go in the colored pencils one. No crayons! Clean up after yourself.
Is there Homework for Science and History.
No usually, only if you didn't use your class time appropriately or you have a quiz/test to study for, or a project to work on.
When should you write in your planner?
Whenever there is something written in your classes spot on the board or if Miss Willems tells you to.
How do you get water or refill your water bottle in my class?
You hold up three fingers until Miss W has acknowledged you. Only 1 at a time.
What Type of drinks are allowed in class?
Drinks that have a screw type bottle.
Where do you find your work from when you are absent?
In your Graded Work file.
What does the Teacher's Helper do?
They will help pass out papers/materials to everyone, help file papers, run copies to Ms Alberta, answer the class phone, etc.
How do you use Miss W's Library chairs?
Respectfully. You can't jump or bend the chairs. Only one person may sit in a chair at a time.
Where do I turn in work that is late?
In the RED Late Bin.
How do you use Miss Willems' Library?
You check out a book by filling in the book check out sheet. Books can not go home, but they can go class to class.
Who is the star in Miss W's Class?
Miss Willems of course!
What is my Redo Quiz/Test policy?
Only students who have received a C, D, or F may do a retake to gain back ½ points. These quizzes/tests are only available for retakes for a week after the grade has been posted. After that week there will be no retakes. Must be on your own time at morning recess.
Can Students eat in class?
No
What is my Redo Policy on assignments?
All PAPER assignments that are Redone for higher points must be labeled REDO at the top and turned into the Red LATE Bin!
When you resubmit an Online Assignment through Schoology, you need to EMAIL Miss Willems (and CC a parent) and tell me the exact name of the assignment and the date you submitted it.
What is the Late work policy for 1st Semester?
No points taken off for Late work in 1st Semester only! All work is Due by the ned of the Unit, after a Unit has closed no late work is accepted.
