A hallway pass signed by a teacher with a valid reason.

How is a King Kid Responsible?

Responsible: Be ready for class with materials and mindset, stay neat and throw your trash away, take ownership over your community.

  • 2 No-Shows to detention

  • 1 Physical fight

What is a Push In?

“Push-in” is when Student Support staff ‘push in’ to a classroom instead of the student getting “Pushed Out” for a referral or other removal from classroom.

What happens if staff see your phone outside of its pouch?

The phone is confiscated and delivered to Student Support where it will be held for the parent to pick-up at their convenience. There are no reminders.

What happens if you are caught with a forged pass?

Detention! If a repeated behavior, referral and further consequences.

How is a King Kid Safe?

Safe: Make people feel safe by keeping your body to yourself, asking for consent, not making fun of anyone, and reporting unsafe behavior.

What is required to fully complete a Cobra Eligibility Restoration Plan?

  • Complete required reflection and restoration actions

  • Collect signatures on your plan to confirm completion of each piece of the plan

  • Submit completed plan to Assistant Principal for final approval

Who can request a Push In?

Push in can be requested at any time by staff or student.

What happens if you are seen with headphones? What are exceptions?

Headphones do not play by themselves. ALL DEVICES will be confiscated and delivered to Student Support for pick up at the end of school. There are no reminders.

****Exceptions to headphone use:

- Teacher permission to use in class with your chromebook
- Lunch time in the Teen Center for Cobra Eligible students

Items must be locked at the bike rack and scooter rack outside the cafeteria.
