What is a moderated caucus?

The first part of the resolution that describes the problem, past actions, and why it needs to be addressed.

The ability held by the Security Council countries to prevent the passage of a resolution.

The plan and way that a country responds to international events
A proposed change to a draft that will be voted on after submission to the Secretary Generals.
What is an amendment?
To agree with a motion being proposed. This must happen to initiate a vote.
What is a second?
A UN agency that protects and aids refugees and displaced communities in the process of resettlement and integration
What is the UN Commissioner for High Refugees (UNHCR)?
Request made by a delegate to have an action
What is a motion?
A person who has fled war, violence, conflict, or persecution and has crossed an international border to find safety in another country.
What is a refugee?
A third option for voting rather than yes or no
What is abstain?
A group within the UN responsible for human health, combatting spread of diseases, and health issues
What is the World Health Organization (WHO)?
Total and annual monetary value of goods and services produced within country. Can give insight to economic health and stability of country.
What is Gross Domestic Product (GDP)?
An international organization dedicated to offering developmental assistance to developing countries
