The unit rate for the 60 pack is 8.57 cards per dollar and the unit rate for the 45 pack is 9 cards per dollar. The pack of 45 cards is a better buy because you get more cards per dollar.

She should buy the box of 8 ice creams because she is getting more per dollar. If she bought 40 ice cream cones, it would cost 15 dollars, but if she bought the box of 10 and got 40 ice creams, it would cost her 24 dollars.
