Biome located near the equator. It has high rainfall amounts and poor soil quality.

A type of grassland biome that experiences rainy seasons, and long periods of drought.
savanna
Area dominated with tree species that shed leaves in winter months.
temperate deciduous forest
This area has permanently frozen soil. Plants do not grow there.
tundra
Area dominated by conifer trees and very short summers.
