If you choose to go out of sight and are not following directions, the activity might get canceled and everyone will have to return to the house.
What is the differences of a verbal and non verbal 10/5ft
Clients on the 10/5ft are able to communicate with each other so long as they follow the 10/5ft distance.
Can clients barrow or trade belongings with staff permission?
"No sharing, trading, or borrowing clothes, jewelry, books or hygiene items as this can lead to conflict."
What are appropriate PJ wears?
Any PJS are fine so long as theres no exposed underwear of any kind; bras, boxers or other types.
How many clients can be inside the bathroom

Protocol of using the bathroom when out in public
If you need to use the bathroom when out in public, you must have a BHT go with you. BHT check stalls first before use.

What are appropriate shoes
Shoes that secure around the foot should be worn, such as athletic shoes.
NO Fuzzy slippers, flip-flops, slides and house slippers are to be worn ONLY in a client’s bedroom or their bathroom or for specific allowed activity.
When a BHT knocks on the door and theres no respond can a BHT enter the bathroom?
"When a BHT knocks on the door please respond. If you do not respond, the BHT has the responsibility to enter and in order to make sure you are safe."
What behavior can cancel the outing?
Any inappropriate comments, including vulgar language or sexual comments, will result in the activity being canceled and coming back to the house
What is a focus Period
Focus period consists of one-on-one time with a mentor in which the client cannot make conversation or have any type of communication with peers or other Mentors. Clients join therapy groups online. Clients will eat meals separate from others. Clients may journal write and/or do clinical work. If the client does not comply, the time may start over as needed.
Do staff have the right to search through your belongings
YES
Staff open and search ALL suitcases, academic work, packages, or mail that come to the house and inventory these items.Staff will need to regularly search client rooms, personal belongings or their person to maintain client and house safety.
What is the protocol for belts
Belts are to be checked in and out, regardless of client’s level.
Can the shower schedule be changed if Lead BHT find it appropriate?
Yes
Staff will decide who is showering in the am and who will shower in the pm. Showering order goes by room number.
Is there eating in the van?
No eating in the van unless you are taking breakfast to go or there is an outing that requires this to happen.
What is a 1 on 1
Client will be encouraged to participate in all groups and have immediate assistance to mitigate behavior issues by sitting next to a BHT for the duration of the shift.

Can staff give clients clothes?
No clothing can be shared or given between clients or staff.
What is the protocol for jewelry?
Jewelry purchased from the client store or from home can be worn- client must check it in and out with a BHT.
Jewelry can be taken away if use inappropriately; sharing, not checking in and out or self harm
How can outing privileges be taken AWAY?
Violation of these protocols can result in a level drop and or a suspension of off site activities for a period of time.
What kind of behaviors can lead to 10/5 ft
When there are interactions that are determined to be interfering with treatment between two or more clients they can be placed on a 10ft rule. This means you are not able to speak to the peer, make direct eye contact or come within 10ft personal space of the person. Violations of the 10-foot rule will result in escalated measures (i.e. Focus Period, Level Drop, Loss of Privileges).
