Mass is the amount of matter that makes up our body
Weight is the amount of gravity pushing down on us
If we go to the moon the only thing that would change is our weight. Our mass would remain the same

An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion till acted upon by a force

to find the average speed you divide the total distance traveled over the total time taken
On a oval racetrack where a car is at constant speed the entire time, when does the acceleration of the car change?
The acceleration would change every time the car goes around a turn because this would cause the velocity to change due to the change in direction.

By giving a reference point it allows people to look for that point and are able to get to the destination based on the mark thy are looking for

The velocity changes if the speed or direction changes
