Can you change the location of a meet or pass?
No. Meets and passes are Movement Planner generated and updated based on the plan data.
How do you find the HOS for a train?
Hover over the crew icon in the Train Summary box, open the crew edit feature, or HOS field in the Dispatch Summary.
A train is at an activity that is 'in progress'. The 'planned' departure time is 1005. When will Movement Planner request the signal for this train beyond that activity location?
Once the activity is completed.
What happens if Movement Planner requests a signal for a track segment with a restrictive tag?
ARNI alert and pop up box similar to the way a stacked route would indicate.
How do you prevent Movement Planner from lining a signal in to the terminal before the terminal is ready for the train?
Constraint - block - if the reason is due to a service interruption and no traffic will be able to traverse the track.
Disable the signal if the terminal is just wanting a 'heads up'.
What is one thing to look for when trying to learn to read Movement Planner.
Look for delay.
Observe activities.
Observe constraints.

How do you change the territory viewed in Movement Planner?

Will AMTRK automatically get a signal beyond a passenger stop?
Yes, this train is the only exception to the rule and will get a signal beyond an activity that is not complete if it is planned first over track.
Why is it important to initiate and edit constraints in TMDS?
TMDS will send constraint information to Movement Planner. Movement Planner will not send constraint information to TMDS.
(ex. If you edit an end time on a block in Movement Planner (not TMDS), if the system is logged off and and back on, it will revert to the time in TMDS and not Movement Planner.)
What is one 'Movement Planner' thing you need to make sure of if a train is tied down without a crew?
The train has an 'in progress' activity at its current location.

The train or signal is disabled from Autorouting.
or
There is a block on the signal that the train is stopped at.
What will Movement Planner do with a Terminal 'want' time?
Movement Planner will not plan to bring the train in to the terminal earlier than the 'want time'.
