An acronym we can use to help us analyze a character in a text indicating four areas we can examine.

Category of literature that is set in a dark and unpleasant future, usually filled with great suffering and injustice, in which the author is typically trying to warn readers to prevent from coming to pass.

When a word represents a sound, like "boom," "buzz," or "meow."

In argumentative writing, when we want to show the other side has a point, and then we spend time debunking or overcoming that point.

A short poem of three lines and no more than 17 syllables.
