Enter quietly and sit in your assigned seat. Then begin the drill or posted task.
How long do assignments stay open after the due date?
Assignments close two weeks after the due date. After that final submission date, they are no longer open.
You arrive late to class. What is the first procedure you must complete?
Sign the tardy log.
Where should bookbags be placed during class?
On the backs of chairs. Extra bags/items may go on unused countertops. Items should not be left on the floor.
How long has Mr. Joseph been a teacher?

You are having a rough start to your day. What is the correct way to handle that when you enter class?
Inform Mr. Joseph appropriately instead of stopping at the door, distracting the class, or creating a disruption.
What should you do with paper assignments?
Submit a picture copy online and place the paper assignment in the turn-in bin. Do not hand papers directly to Mr. Joseph.
What information goes on the bathroom log?
First and last name, date, and the time you are leaving.
What is the cell phone and AirPods expectation in science class?
No cell phones or AirPods are allowed in class at any time. Ms. Butler should not see it, and students should not use it.

What are “Completion Rules” in Schoology?
They are step-by-step requirements you must complete correctly and in order before the next activity unlocks.
Can major assignments be redone for a better grade?
No. Major assignments cannot be redone.
Before leaving the classroom, what must be on your pass?
Your name, date, where you are going, time you left, and a teacher/adult signature.
What is the eye washing station for, and how long should eyes be rinsed?
It is for chemicals or debris in the eyes. Go immediately, turn on the water, hold eyes open, and rinse for 15 minutes.

An activity says “Private Access” or appears locked. What probably happened?
You skipped a step or did not complete a task correctly, so the next activity did not unlock.
What must a student do to redo an eligible assignment?
Submit a redo form and attend Lunch Bunch or Coach Class. Late assignments cannot be redone for a better grade.
Can students leave the classroom whenever they want if they ask politely?
No. Students may leave only during designated pass timeframes and must have a pass. Advisory is a no-pass zone.
During a fire drill, name three expectations students must follow.
Follow directions, walk to the exit door, stay with the class, remain calm, avoid pushing/screaming/yelling, and look for Mr. Joseph outside for attendance.
