Where can I find what materials we will use for class?
On the heart shaped board outside our classroom door.
Homework?
Only unfinished classwork. You are expected to take it home, that night, finish it, and bring it back the next day!
What are appropriate reasons to leave my seat?
You can leave to turn in work, get a tissue, ask Mrs. Gruenwald a question or sharpen you pencil.
Do you sit just anywhere you feel like?
No, there are assigned seats that will change monthly. You do not move seats without being asked.

What is the first thing I should do when I quietly enter the room?
Find your seat and read the whiteboard for instructions.
What do I do when I finish my work?
Read the book you brought with you. You can not sit and talk to friends, go to the restroom, draw...when you have taken your time and finished your assignment completely, you are expected to read the book you bring to class daily.
When should I use the restroom?
During the five minute passing period.
How should you show up to class each day?
On time with all the needed materials. Do not come to class then ask to leave to get items from locker.

Where do I find my work when I am absent?
I will update Google Classroom daily. If you are not here, check there for what to do.
Can I have water in class?
Yes! In a plastic water bottle. All metal bottles should be kept in lockers and used between classes. You will not be dismissed from class to get a drink.
What is the expectation when we are having a class discussion?
Participate! Everyone has value to add! Also, be a good listener.
How does working with a partner or partners in this class look?
It looks like a focused hard working group where each person is contributing and putting forth the effort.
What should you before beginning bell work?
Make sure your pencil is sharpened!
How do you know you have homework?
You either were absent and need to look at Google Classroom or you did not finish an assignment in class.
What if I am going to be sick?
Leave immediately. Go to the bathroom, return to class when you have taken care of the emergency.
What is the expectation with items in the classroom?
Do not touch unless it something for student use such as supplies, cushions, or clipboards.
How can you be a good classmate and friend?
I can listen and be respectful. I can be courteous and kind.
What two things should you do when dismissed?
Push in your chair and take all of your belongings with you.
Where do I turn in my work?
You turn it on google classroom or if it is a paper, you put it in your hour tub.
Can I use the classroom sink?
Yes, as long as Mrs., Gruenwald is not in the middle of teaching. Also, do not make a mess in the process!
What should I do between classes?
Go to your own locker, change out supplies, use the restroom if needed, and go to your next class.

Stay on the assignment I am working on until I have done my best and it is complete. You should not be on other websites such as YouTube without permission.
