Light reflects of the surface of an object into our lens. The light refracts and focuses to the retina. The retina changes the light to an electrical signal. These signals travel through the optic nerve to the brain. The brain receives the image and flips in right-side up for us to determine what the image is.

A cold, moist air mass confronts a warm, moist air mass forcing the warm air to rise. Because of all of the condensed water molecules, the force of gravity becomes stronger than the updraft and it storms.
