100

Can I leave when the bell goes?

No, Mrs Noy will tell me when we can leave.

100

Who is responsible for my work and my behaviour?

I am! If I can't manage myself, Mrs Noy will help by talking to me, talking to my parents and, if she needs to, putting me on a behaviour card.
100

Am I allowed to borrow a pencil?

Yes! We have them in the cupboard.

100

What happens if someone is distracting me?

I need to ignore them and if I can't, I need to tell Mrs Noy and she will help.

100

What am I allowed to eat in class?

Only something the Mrs Noy gives me to eat. Or else, I'll be picking up rubbish at lunch because we don't eat in the room.

200

What are the good things that can happen if I do the right things?

Free time, games, reward tickets, positive postcards, happy phone calls home.

200

What happens if I am late to class?

If I don't have a reason, I will be making up the time.

200

Can I type on my Ipad?

Only if you are told you can - otherwise you are writing.

200

What happens if I distract the people around me?

I will be warned and, if I continue, Mrs Noy will move me.

200

What if my ipad or laptop is flat?

I ask to charge it - I don't just go ahead and plug it in.

300

Do I have to answer or read if my name is called on the sticks or spinner?

Yes, I need to have a go and if I don't know, Mrs Noy will help me!

300

Can I get a drink or go to the toilet during the lesson?

Yes - you have 2 mins to do either or you will owe Mrs Noy the extra time.

300

Can I have my hat on?

No, unless I have a hat pass.

300

What do I do if I don't understand something?

Tell Mrs Noy! Don't sit there doing nothing. This is make you stay in to finish your work.

300

Can I shoot rubbish into the bin, basketball style??

Nope! Unless we are playing Trashketball, you need to put it in the bin or you'll be cleaning up the block.

400

Is it ok to make fun of people's answers, just to be funny or because they are my friend?

Never. We all have to answer and deserve to be listened to respectfully. There will be a consequence if someone is disrespectful to someone in our class.

400

What is the thing that Mrs Noy finds most annoying for students to do?

Talk when she is talking - if you do, you will be warned and if you keep going, you will be moved.

400

When should I pack up my things?

When Mrs Noy tells me to!

400

What if I don't feel well or I am tired?

Tell Mrs Noy and you can go to the sickbay. If you don't want to go, then you do the work. If you don't do the work, you stay to do it.

400

What happens if I don't clean up around my desk, even if it's not my mess.

I will stay until it is done.

500

What should I do if someone is really irritating me during class?

I need to be calm and tell Mrs Noy. She will deal with it.

500

What should I do if Mrs Noy asks us to attend to her?

Put my pen down (or ipad down flat, if I'm allowed to use it), stop chatting, look at Mrs Noy and give her my full attention until she tells me to go back to work.
500

How much work do I need to do in the lesson?

All of it - Mrs Noy doesn't make us do more work than we can manage. If it's not done, I need to stay and get it finished.

500

What does it mean to be an active learner?

Answering questions, participating in discussions, listening to others, doing the work to the best of my ability.

500

What does respectful behaviour look like?

Kind words, appropriate language, trying my best, following instructions and trying my best.
