How should we line up in the classroom?
We should line up in number order.
How many students shoud the monitor allow to enter the restroom at the same time?
The monitor should allow 4 students to enter the restroom at the same time.
What should our voice level be in the lunchroom?
Our voice level should be 0 so that the lunch ladies can hear the order of each student.
We are not allowed in the ditch area or woods when out at the blacktop for recess.
Where do we turn in our work papers - and how do we do it?
We turn in our work papers into the pink bucket - facing forward - standing tall.
What should the line look like in the hallway?
We should have a silent line, one behind the next in number order, feet between the colored and gray tiles.
What is our job in the restroom?
Students should remain silent, use the restroom, wash hands, throw the paper towel in the trash can, and exit silently.
Can we re-enter the lunchroom if we forgot something?
No- we many not re-enter the lunchroom once our class has gone through. Please make sure that you have your utensils, condiments, and napkins.
What should we do if we get hurt at recess?
If hurt at recess - please come to Mrs. Paul right away or send a friend. Mrs. Paul will help you and get you to the nurse if necessary.
What should be placed in our seat sacks?
We should have pencil pouches, crayons, SS workbook, reading workbook, computers, and ELA journals in our seat sacks.
Where are the stopping points in the hallway?
The stopping points in the hallway are the double doors between hallways, the end of the brick by the lunchroom, and the PE stop sign.
What should we do if we see trash on the floor?
If there is trash on the floor, please get the broom and dust pan to sweep it up. Hopefully the monitor will help with that as well.
What should we remember when eating at the lunch table?
While eating at the lunch table - we should be seated on our bottoms, visiting people to our right and left and across from us. We should use best table manners - not sharing food.
What should we do if we get out in Gaga ball?
If our in Gaga ball - we should not argue but exit the Gaga ball pit. We can choose to play something else or watch from outside the pit and encourage others.
What should be in our desks?
We should have the ELA textbook, math workbooks, math journal, I-Ready journal, and science workbook in our desks.
The green squares on the doors in the hallway are for emergency lock down areas.
What should we do if someone tries to talk to us in the restoom?
Please place your finger over your mouth to remind the student to be quiet. We don't want anyone to get in trouble.
What should we do when Mrs. Paul comes to the table?
When Mrs. Paul comes to the table, we should stand behind our bench - looking to see that we have collected all of our trash from the table and floor area. Then Mrs. Paul will dismiss one side at a time to throw the trash away. Then the class should line up by the entrance.
What should we do when the whistle is blown at the end of recess?
We should stop playing immediately, look for equipment to place in the recess bag, and line up in number order.
What should we do during pack up time?
During pack up time, students should write in the assignment pad, get the Eagle Expectations signed, clean the desk area, place books needed for homework in backpacks, complete assigned job, and begin working on homework.
What are the color names of the 3 main hallways in the building?
We are on the blue hallway, PE is on the green hallway, and there is the red hallway.
What should we do if we notice something is wrong in the restroom?
Please report it to the teacher.
How should the table be cleaned?
The table cleaner should use the spray bottle to spray the table and bench area. The crumbs should be wiped on the floor from the table and bench area for the floor cleaner to sweep up.
This means a car is going by - we should stop playing and we should squat until we hear the whistle blown and the teacher yells play.
