No!
What happens if you lose math notes or an assignment?
Mrs. Sebesta does not make extra copies, so you will have to handwrite your notes/assignments.
How should we line up to switch classes?
Quietly and form a line against the cabinet wall.
When are you allowed to go to the restroom?
During the first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes of class. NEVER during class notes!!!
Are you allowed to correct a daily grade?
How will you know when a unit test is?
Mrs. Sebesta will announce test date at least a week in advance.
What is something you've learned about Mrs. Sebesta or what is something you'd like to know?
Any response other than "I don't know" is acceptable.
What should you do when you do not have a pencil?
Go to Mrs. Sebesta's pencil parking. Take the pencil that is your locker/Chromebook number. When class is over return the pencil to the same slot. If it's not returned you will receive a conduct mark.
If the pencil in my pencil parking is lost it is your responsibility to ask a friend for a pencil.
Should you ask Mrs. Sebesta to go to the restroom?
NO!!! Use the light system. If the light is on red, then you can ask Mrs. Sebesta if you have an emergency.
What happens if you do not finish daily assignments or practice in class?
You have to take it for homework and return it the following day. Failure to complete results in a conduct mark and a requirement to complete missing work during recess.
How do you study for a vocabulary test?
Study the list Mrs. Sebesta sent home in paw folder, and/or google classroom links to Quizlet or Blooket.
What will you work on during small group/intervention time?
"What I Need". Mrs. Sebesta will develop a plan based on what math skills you need improvement in.
What should you do when you do not have headphones?
Go to Mrs. Sebesta's headphone checkout. Place paw folder on her desk. When done, return headphones and pick up paw folder. Not returning headphones results in a conduct mark.
What do you have to do before you leave Mrs. Sebesta's classroom?
Sign-out on the sheet by the door. Make sure to mark the time you leave and return and circle the location you are going to.
What happens if you forget your name on your paper?
5 points will be deducted from your grade.
Are you allowed to correct a test?
Yes, you will sit with Mrs. Sebesta to work through incorrect problems. However, Mrs. Sebesta does not change your test grade.
What should you do if you are struggling with a math problem on a daily practice or homework?
First, ask a partner in your table group. If you're still stuck ask Mrs. Sebesta.
What happens if Mrs. Sebesta has given you a warning and you continue to do the same behavior?
You will receive a conduct mark. If it's a severe behavior it could result in a phone call home and/or an office referral.
What is the protocol for going to the restroom in Mrs. Sebesta's class?
1. Has to be the first or last 10 minutes of class.
2. Look at restroom lights.
3. If the light is turned off for your gender then you may go to the restroom.
4. You must sign out on the sign out sheet and mark the time you left. Then turn restroom light on.
5. When you return you turn restroom light off and sign the sign-out sheet with the time you returned.
Where and how do you turn in assignments?
In your class period basket by Mrs. Sebesta's desk. You must highlight your name with the color of your understanding based on the chart by Mrs. Sebesta's desk.
What should you do if you do not understand a test question?
1. Flag the question if it's online or circle the question if it's on paper.
2. Complete the remainder of the problems you understand.
3. If you continue to struggle, raise your hand and Mrs. Sebesta will read the question and provide some guidance if needed.
