What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly.
What do you do when you get in class?
You get our your agenda binder at your seat, hang up your backpack and write your homework in your agenda. Your homework lays on the right side for the teacher to check.
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk in a quietly and straight line.
When you come to class late what should you do?
Turn in the tardy pass on the teacher's desk.
Unpack quietly.
Wait for a friend or the teacher to help get you caught up.
How can you care for the library books?
Only have 1 at a time
Never put it in your desk
Keep it in the book bin at your group
Return the book when you are done
What do you do to help others?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask a friend next to you for help, if they can't then you raise your hand and wait for the teacher quietly.
When the bell ring during class, what do you do?
You must freeze.
Play on the monkey bars
Play tag
Run up or down the slide
Jump off of the swings
If a guest comes in the classroom to greet us, what should we do?
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, during recess, specials and lunch. You may also go during class if the teacher says it is an ok time.
What do I do with my agenda binder every day?
It goes home and comes back with everything inside of it. I take REALLY good care of it so it lasts me all year.
How do you earn a Tiger Paw?
You try your best and follow school rules at all times.
Where do you go for a fire drill?
Outside in the grass on by the parking lot.
What do you do if you need to use the restroom?
Show restroom signal (crossing fingers).
What do I do if my pencil needs sharpened or broke?
I raise my pencil in the air and the teacher gives me permission to trade it in for a new one.
What do I do when the teacher says "give me three".
How can you help others around the school?
By picking up trash
Holding doors open for others
Pushing in a friend's chair
By making sure everyone has someone to play with at recess
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
In number order, quietly, hands in back with bubbles in mouth.
What is a level 1, 2, 3 volume in the classroom?
1 - silent
2 - whisper
3 - inside voice
