What do you do when you need Mrs. Wilson's attention?
Raise your hand and wait patiently!
What is our voice level in the hallway?
I should go in the calming corner for work time!
False! This is for when you are feeling upset or need a moment to reset to be successful!
Where do we put pencils that need to be sharpened?
In the dull rainbow bin!
You should sit in the calming corner for a long time!
Wrong, when you go in there it should be used for a short amount of time. Please use a timer. If you need more time, please talk with Mrs. Wilson.
Where can you find supplies that you may need?
Rainbow cart by the door!
Under our easel!
In the library on our math manipulative shelf!
When should you talk back to a teacher?
Never! :)
I should sharpen my pencil during work time or when Mrs. Wilson is teaching!
False! Place pencils in the dull drawer and take a sharp pencil.
Where can you find your library books?
In your reading bin!
I should lay on the carpet when we are doing a lesson, read aloud, or doing something on the smartboard.
Wrong, I need to be sitting on my bottom with my body to myself when on the carpet.
If you need to go to the bathroom, what do you do?
Bonus- When should you go to the bathroom if you need to go?
Place the bathroom pass at your table spot and go to the bathroom.
You should go when it is independent work time!
If something is not yours should you touch it?
No, we keep our hands to ourselves and leave things that are not ours alone. I you are helping someone clean up that is different!
I can be a leader in our classroom by treating others how I want to be treated.
True, above line behaviors show great leadership!
Where can I find early finisher activities?
On the counter in our drawers!
I should keep all four feet of the chair on the floor when sitting on my chair.
Right! That is safe!
When it is work time where can I work?
Anywhere in the classroom as long as you are working, not distracting yourself or others, and using the spot correctly.
How should you use our flexible seating options?
Properly!
Please example this for me!
If I'm really angry I can take it out on my classmates, teacher, or work.
False, this is a great time to let Mrs. Wilson know you need a break! It is your responsibility to share this when you are starting to feel this way!

In the drawers at our table!
When I stand in line I should be looking forward, at a 0 voice level, with my body to myself.
Right!

YOU!!
What should you do if you are out of water or need a drink?
If you have a water bottle, during independent work time you may fill it at the sink in the classroom.
If you don't have a water bottle then during independent work time you need to take the bathroom pass, place it at your spot, and go get a drink.
The doorbell is a tool, not a toy!
True, if we need to use the doorbell it is because our door is locked. You ring it one time and then step back from the door. You should not ring it more than once, stare into the window, or knock.
The person closest to the door will open the door while the rest of the class continues to work. They should quickly open the door, let the person in, and get back to work.
Where can you find morning work bins?
On the red and blue roller cart.
When a substitute teacher is here it is okay for us to not behave like we would if Mrs. Wilson was here.
WRONG! My expectation is that you behave better for a guest teacher than you would for me! You should show above the line behaviors, be willing to be flexible, and help them if needed!
