Students will receive 5 bathroom passes (AS A CLASS). After the 5 bathroom passes run out, NO ONE will be allowed to go. If need special attention for bathroom, must talk to me BEFORE class begins.

Florida Statute House Bill (HB) 1105 made law that cell phone usage is NOT ALLOWED during instructional time (in class).  Using a cell phone in class is BREAKING THE LAW! Cell phones will be confiscated and returned after class. If student refuse to hand in phone, a SCAM will be written, and student will be sent to indoor suspension for “unauthorized use of cell phone during instructional time and disruption to the learning environment”.

  1. Phones/electronics are to be OFF/VIBRATE and away in student’s bookbag unless explicitly stated otherwise 

  1. No food during class time, drinks (Water preferably) are permitted BUT MUST HAVE A LID/TWIST TOP 

  1. No student admitted to class after the bell has rung (MUST HAVE A PASS) 

  1. Students must use respectful language, i.e. no profanity, name-calling, bullying, etc. Respect Teacher and Peers 

 

What are the General Class Rules?

  • Cell phones, headphones, ear buds (air pods), smart watches, tablets, etc. need to be OFF/ VIBRATE and put in backpack/bookbag 

  • NO HOODIES/JACKET HOODS ON IN CLASS. You will be asked to remove the hood. 

  • Sleeping in class or refusing to do work is OFF TASK behavior and will result in referral and removal from class period. 

  • Walking out of class or calling mom in class AT ANYTIME because the Teacher said “No” is automatically a SCAM and removal from class period.
