2 before me! Ask 2 friends for help before asking the teacher.
How will I know when to start an activity if my teacher is giving directions?
When Ms. E says to begin. Don't start until Ms. E tells you to.
Can you eat in this classroom?
If you need to use the restroom, what do you do?
Put an E-hall Pass in.
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Quiet, working on work from another class!
What should I do if I have lost my laptop charger?
Ask Ms. E to BORROW one
What is the purpose of the hamster plushie at the front of the room?
He/she is our emotional support class pet. If you need to hug it, you MAY. Other than that, DO NOT get violent with it.
Can I put my hands on somebody as a joke?
No, that's a major writeup.
When can I use the bathroom?
first 10 last 10 is no. During work time or individual time. Not during lesson time. Never leave class without an E-pass.
Can you stand at the door before the bell rings?
No, push your chairs in and stand behind it until the bell.
What do you do if you need the wheel?
Quietly take it, use it, THEN PUT IT BACK before class ends!!!
If my name is on the board as a warning what should I do?
Be careful, and behave so I don't get a checkmark.
What is the first thing you should do when you come in the classroom?
Read the board, Get your supplies and begin the Do Now.
When AND where can I sharpen my pencil?
At the beginning of class or During work time. Not during teaching or lesson time. The sharpener is next to the piano!
Where can you turn in your work when it is completed?
The designated turn in row in the gray filer.
Can you move chairs in my classroom?
NO, please leave all chairs the way you found them.
What do the check marks next to my name mean?
One check mark = minor writeup + Silent Lunch
Two check marks = call home + major writeup.
Do we have homework in this class?
Whatever you don't finish during class is homework!
How do we leave the room?
Neater than we found it. PUSHING OUR CHAIRS IN!
How do we walk into the room?
Walk in quietly, NO RUNNING.
What do you have to do when given permission to leave the classroom?
TAKE THE PASS THAT'S ON THE PIANO.
How does Ms. E feel about "he said/she said" situations?
If she didn't see it/ hear it, please don't make her make everyone write statements regarding what happened. Just move on.
