What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
During any drill what should your voice level be on?

What do you do when you get in class?
Sit in your desk quietly, get all your supplies and began working on your DO NOW.
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When can I use the bathroom?
During the transitioning period ONLY! Before or After my class.
Where do you go for a fire drill?
Quietly walk towards the elevator down the 7th grade door quietly and quickly. Make a Left Down the hallway and walk straight to the front of school. Line up silently and wait for teacher to take attendance.
What kind of food and/ or beverage can students have in class?
Water.
What should I do if I don't have a pencil?
Go get one from the pencil bucket and drop off a shoe/your phone on my desk or quietly ask your table partners if you can borrow a pencil.
Where can you turn in your work?
In the Turn In Tray on the bookshelf.
What should you do during a tornado drill?
Students should move away from the window. Exit the classroom and line up along the lockers. Once seated facing the lockers students should have their head in-between their legs until the tornado has passed.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before class, or after class. You can also trade your pencil for another.
Where do students sit in the classroom?
In their assigned seat
What can you do when you finish your work early?
•Study your vocabulary words.
•Organize your back.
•Read a book from the classroom library.
•Start working on your homework from another class.
What do students do with their belongings?
All of your belongings should be placed under your chair or under the table
What does WORK TIME sound like?
Silent! Respectful of all learners. Whisper please if you need anything.
What does a good good classroom discussion look like?
Everyone is participating. Not shouting or interrupting others. Having respect for everyone's ideas
What do you if an Intruder is in the building and Hambrick is on lockdown?
Stay quiet , calm, and head towards the back of the classroom stay away from the window and sit on the floor.
How can you respect others and Ms. Fields?
By listening to them, having patience with each other, taking turns sharing, using nice words, practicing self space, following instructions, completing your work correctly and on time.
If you are absent what do you do when you return to school?
Ask for your late work the day you return to school
