What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you first come in every day?
Hang up backpack, go to seat quietly, look at the board, and wait for attendance.
How do we line up for recess, specials, lunch, and restroom breaks?
Wait to be called, walk quietly to line. Face forward, no talking.
What do I do if I am absent?
Complete work in absent folder by end of week.
Check google classroom to complete specials makeup work.
When is homework due?
Fridays. Ms. S will not give credit for late homework unless you were absent.
What does work time sound like?
Level 0, unless you have permission to talk, then level 1.
Where should you be during centers?
In your designated center station seated quietly.
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Read a book or draw.
How do I mark my lunch count?
Raise hand when Ms. S asks and keep it up until she calls my name.
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
How do students respect other students things?
By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.
When can I use the bathroom?
During work time or center time. Not during lesson time. You still need to use bathroom signal to get permission.
How many people can be at the bathroom at one time?
Two people.
How do we line up?
Wait to be called then line up quietly, facing forward, and put hands behind our back.
How can I receive rewards for my behavior?
Positive points during lessons. Class dojo rewards for points.
How do you know what morning work will be in the morning?
Look at the right side of the board.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
During worktime or center time. Not during teaching or lesson time.
Where can you turn in your work?
Keep it at your desk unless Ms. S informs to turn it into the tray.
What are the classroom signals?
Demonstrate bathroom, out of seat, question, pencil, water, and quiet.
How can you be a kind friend at recess?
Taking turns, hands and feet to self, using nice words, including others in your games, etc.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and safe bodies.
How do we line up to leave the room?
Wait until you are called, push in your chair, and walk to line without talking.
What is the first thing you do every time you enter the classroom?
Sanitize your hands.
What happens if the class misbehaves?
The class will lose a letter from RECESS.
Multiple lost RECESS will result in loss of fun fridays.
What should I do if I hear lockdown?
Stop what I am doing, walk to front front of classroom, sit criss cross applesauce, and be silent until we hear "All clear".
