 How long is the wet time?

  • 2-step process
  • Clean the surface with one bleach wipe and discard wipe.
  • Disinfect the front and back of the meter, using another fresh bleach wipe by wiping the surface of the meter vertically- top to bottom- 3 times- and horizontally- left to right- 3 times; avoiding the bar scanner and electronic connector. Also, gently wipe the surface of the test strip port ensuring no fluid enters the port.
  • Allow for 3 minutes of wet time based on the bleach wipe manufacturer’s recommendation
  • Ensure the bleach wipe used is not dripping wet, excessive moisture will damage the device.
