What do you do when you first come in every day?
Get your Portfolio! Begin working on your warn up until Ms.Grayson tells you about what we will be working on today
Where should your celll phone be?
In your Yondr Pouch. If I see or hear then they will be going straight to the office.
What do you do if you have a question when the teacher is at small group or helping another adult or student?
3 before me! Ask 3 friends for help before asking the teacher.
How will I know when to start an activity if my teacher is giving directions?
Wait until Miss Grayson says to begin
Can you charge your chrome books in Ms.Grayson's Class?
No. Ms. Grayson does not have chrome book chargers so when you need them please bring them charged.
What should you do if Ms.Grayson has a sub?
Work independently, follow directions and follow the rules. Act like you have some sense.
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Choose one of the options given for the day. Tech may not always be a choice.
What should I do if I have lost my laptop charger?
Ask to BORROW one
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
Ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed.
Can you eat food in Ms. Burton's class?
If it does not contain nuts or other allergens of your peers. You must clean it up after.
When can I use the bathroom?
Not During dead 10 or while any of your classmates are out to the restroom.
What should you do with items that you find in the classroom and don't know who they belong to?
Give it to Miss Burton or another trusted adult.
How do we act at group work times?
You sit nicely in your chair, do group work together, then walk back to your desk when you are told to go back to normal seats.
Where should you put work that is not finished?
Ask Miss Burton, you may need to finish it at home or in class the next day. Or you might just turn in what you have. It will depend on the assignment.
What is the first thing you should get when you arrive?
Check the warm up folder for work
When can I sharpen my pencil?
During worktime when you are needing the pencil. Not during teaching or lesson time.
Where can you turn in your work when it is completed?
The correct shelf with your period number on it
How do I know what we are doing today?
Wait until you are told or check the agenda on the board.
What can you drink in Mrs. Burton's room?
Water is preferred, leftover soda or juice from lunch is okay if you are careful

What do you have to do when given permission to leave the classroom?
Make sure you leave AFTER the adult writes your minga
What should you do if you hear an adult's voice?
Stop what I am doing and wait for my teacher's directions.
